we will happily reblog any slightly late fanworks for either of these single day events for a couple of days after the events are over, in case anyone struggles to get things finished for the specific days. :)
If you would like to post to this Dreamwidth community for the event, you will need to join as a member here. Posts here will be moderated and should appear once a moderator has had the chance to review your post. Please follow the guidelines below for your posts.
1. Tag your post appropriately - be mindful of potentially triggery content (more info on Dreamwidth tags lower down in this post)
2. Keep any NSFW content, e.g. violence or dark themes, behind a cut
3. Mention in notes if there is a background non-gen relationship
4. Credit any collaborators and betas

For tagging on Dreamwidth - please could you tag your fanworks posted on here with the following:
- the event tag "event: national pet day"
- which show they are for
- what rating applies to it (using same ratings as you would find on AO3 fanworks)
- what character(s) it includes
- what type of fanwork it is
If your post needs a new character tag you can add one yourself in the format
character: firstname surname or
character: firstname "nickname" surname. If you need a new show tag for any shows we don't yet have a tag for you can add it as
show: showname. There are also some genre tags available to use including
genre: family. The tag page is
here if you want to see what tags exist already.
Once the event starts, if you haven’t seen your post reblogged on tumblr or approved on here within 24 hours of posting, please let us know in case it has gotten missed.
