Welcome to Gen Valentine’s - the gen DCTV fanworks event!
Gen Valentine’s is a 3 day event for gen fanworks, set near Valentine Day's as an alternative/complementary event to the romantic themed events that often pop up around this time - by focusing on non-romantic relationships and characters. The event runs for 3 days, but there's no requirement to write for all the days. We want you to have fun, so contribute as much as you like/are able to.
What can you make/How can you contribute?
Any format of fanwork is acceptable for the event - fanfic, fanvids, fanart and so many more. However you want to be creative is good, so long as the fanwork:
What is gen?
There's a few different definitions of gen floating around. For the purposes of this event we're defining it as works centered around non-romantic, non-sexual relationships, or even no relationships at all.
Examples of gen categories:
